Sending Content 

This article refers to sending content with a Polycom RealPresence Group Video Conferencing System.  To learn how to send content with a Polycom HDX System please see this article. 

Overview:

Polycom Real Group Presence Video Conferencing systems allow users to send content to other end points that are capable of receiving it. Sending content is similar to screen sharing, that is used by many desktop applications. Please note: Users connected with some mobile/desktop applications may not be able to see content.  

 

To start showing content from a source connected to a RealPresence Group system:

Using your remote select the  and then select your content source from the list. 

While in a call, you can select  > Select on your remote to turn on and off the last used content source. 

To stop showing content:

Using your remote control, select  > Hide and the name of your content source, such as Hide Laptop.

Please note: Often times Laptops need to have their VGA or HDMI port activated. Depending on model or type of computer, that can be done by pressing the Function Key (fn) and selecting F8 or F5. If you need help with sending content please request meeting or event support
