Health Information Technology does not support MSUnet wireless 2.0 or 3.0 but provides more information from ITS. MSUnet Wireless, Michigan State University's (MSU) centrally managed wireless Internet service, provides wireless network services throughout the MSU campus and off-site locations. MSUnet Wireless supports all of the current Wi-Fi standards - 802.11a, 802.11g and 802.11n. 802.11n operates in both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies.
Users with an MSUnet ID can access the Wireless Network (SSID) MSUnet, MSUnet 2.0 or MSUnet 3.0. Guest users without a MSU NetID should join the Wireless Network (SSID) MSUnet Guest, MSUnet Guest 2.0, or MSUnet Guest 3.0. Guest access has limited bandwidth per user.
